Yale Students Get in 'Formation' for Beyoncé 101: Report
Blue Ivy's mom is going Ivy League. Yale University will teach a class on Beyoncé and her cultural impact beginning next semester, a report said.
The class, which is called “Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition, History, Culture, Theory & Politics through Music,” will focus on using the "Single Ladies" singer's work as a lens to study Black history, performance, and intellectual thought, according to Yale Daily News, an independent student newspaper.

Legendary Philadelphia Soul Singer, Frankie Beverly Of Maze Has Died
The funk band Maze's lead singer, Frankie Beverly, died on Tuesday, Sept. 10, his family shared on social media the following morning.
Beverly was 77 and a Philadelphia native who attended Germantown High School. He was known as a legendary R&B artist, songwriter, and producer.

Comedian/Actress, Age 39, With Local Roots Is Remembered As 'Silly, Humble, Kind'
A comedian and actress who got her start in Massachusetts in Northborough and Worcester died peacefully on Dec. 22.
Casey Reuter Durkin, age 39, was a longtime resident of Northborough as well as Los Angeles.
She was an actress, dancer, stylist, and comedian who worked with celebrities that include Beyonce, Faith Hill, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg, and the Rolling Stones, according to her obituary in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
Durkin may have been best known for her roles in “48 Hours to Live,” “Flock of Dudes,” and “Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning,” according to IMDB.

Trump Coming To Hamptons For Fundraisers Where Tickets Run As High As $250K
President Trump will be in the Hamptons to attend two fundraising events including one that is charging $250,000 to have direct access to the president.
