Dirt Bike Driver Seriously Injured During Crash On Long Island Highway, Police Say
Police are investigating a serious auto accident on Long Island involving a man riding a dirt bike. The accident took place around 8:53 sp.m., Thursday, May 27, on the Babylon Turnpike in Roosevelt. According to detectives, while heading northbound on Babylon Turnpike operating the dirt bike, a 29-year-old man was involved in a collision with another motorist who was heading southbound, said the Nassau County Police. Party-Stunt On Mattress Towed By Truck Goes Wrong, Two Flown To Hospital
Two partygoers were seriously injured while attempting a stunt on a mattress being pulled by a truck in Manheim Townshipon Sunday, say authorities. Northern York County Regional Police Department were called to investigate a crash in the 5500 block of Wolfgang School Road around 2:54 a.m. On scene the police found a woman, 26 from Glen Rock, with a major head injury. A 2-year-old Connecticut boy was killed during a crash involving a motor vehicle. Hartford Police say they responded to a local hospital around 1:25 p.m., Saturday, May 1, for a report of an accidentally injured two-year-old old who later died, said Hartford Police Lt. A 40-year-old man was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Northern Westchester. A 37-year-old man was killed after allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign on an area roadway, according to police. New York City resident Christian P. Brink, of Brooklyn, was the victim of the Dutchess County crash that happened 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the town of Amenia, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. Fatal Crash Causes Hours-Long Closure On Taconic Parkway
This story has been updated. A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway was closed throughout the morning commute following a fatal crash. The closure was southbound in Hopewell Junction between Route 29/Carpenter Road and Route 52.
