Ex-Con Robbed 7-11 Store At Gunpoint In Bucks County: Police
A convicted felon suspected of robbing a 7-11 store at gunpoint in Bucks County has been arrested, authorities announced on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
Christopher Yelverton, 42 of Philadelphia, was charged with Robbery, Theft, Persons Not to Possess Firearms, Terrorist Threats, and related charges.
Yelverton was being held in Bucks County Prison on $75,000 bail, according to court records.
On May 2 at about 3 a.m., a man produced a note demanding money from a 7-11 worker at 1952 Brownsville Road in Lower Southhampton, police said.

At 10:59 p.m., officers responded to Roosevelt Avenue for a disturbance and numerous individuals began fleeing, running through the yards of surrounding residences, Parsippany police said.

Two Trenton men have been arrested in connection with a burglary last month at a 7-11 store, authorities said.
Martin Luther Melvin, 55, and Venta Hayes Jr., 37, were charged in the theft, a Trenton police spokeswoman said on Thursday, May 2.
On April 24, at approximately 5 a.m., Trenton Police Patrol officers responded to the 7-11 at 828 N. Olden Ave. on a reported commercial burglary.

A man has been charged with allegedly attacking a police officer and punching him in the eye during an arrest attempt on Long Island.
The incident took place in Oceanside around 3:10 a.m., Friday, June 17.
According to detectives, Julian Lynch, age 28, of Brooklyn, entered a 7-11 located at 475 Merrick Road. A Jersey Shore man has pleaded guilty to robbing several stores and burglarizing a home, authorities said.
Thomas Jann, 34, of Beachwood, pled guilty to six counts of robbery and one count of burglary, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The string of alleged crimes occurred between July 27, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2020, in Toms River, Berkeley Township and Beachwood, the prosecutor said.
