York County 18-Year-Old Will Donate Organs Following Deadly Strike By Maryland Driver A community had been rallying for York County teen Dylan Flickinger after he was struck by a Maryland driver and seriously hurt, but on Thursday, Oct. 27, he was pronounced deceased by the York County coroner's office, as stated in a release on Friday, Oct. 28. 24-Year-Old Man Killed In York Shooting, Crash Identified A 24-year-old man shot and killed last week in York has been identified. Roman Padilla was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside of a car that had crashed on the 800 block of S. Pine St. Friday, May 6 around 12:45 p.m., York County Coroner Pamela L. Gay and city police said. The victim was given medical treatment by officers until EMS could take him to York Hospital, where he died soon after. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was homicide, Gay said.

Officials ID Man Found Dead By Children Under York City Bridge Children found a 59-year-old man dead under a York City bridge Sunday evening, authorities said. Ben Saidi had been living in an area under the bridge at Grantley Road and W. College Avenue, and his body was discovered around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, York County Coroner Pamela L. Gay said. Saidi had been dead for several days or a few weeks and is believed to have died of natural causes, Gay said. He was pronounced dead just before 6:05 p.m., Gay said.
