'Armed, Dangerous' Third-Generation Criminal, 16, Wanted In Central PA Drug Related Shooting

A 16-year-old— who has a family history of crime— is wanted by police on adult charges for "drug related shooting," according to a release by the police on Monday, June 6.

James Dennis Abney III, of West Manchester Township, is wanted in connection with the May 19 shooting that happened on West Princess Street, according to the West York Borough police.

Both of Abney's namesakes, James Dennis Abney Jr. and Sr. have pleaded guilty and been convicted of various charges including driving under the influence, harassment, assault, and more— Abney Sr. is currently serving time in SCI Camp Hill, court records show.

Abney III is considered "armed and dangerous," police say.
