Burglar Steals $3K In Comic Books From Poconos Shop
A number of "high-end" comic books were stolen from a Monroe County hobby shop during an over-night break-in last week, say police and store management. White Dragon Comics, 246 Stadden Road Suite 202 in Tannersville, was robbed sometime late on April 19 or early on April 20, Pocono Township police wrote in a release. The burglar appears to have smashed the front door before making off with several vintage issues, authorities said.
