Motorcyclist Killed In Route 1 Crash, 2nd Fatal In Same Day In South Brunswick
Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said. At 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, officers were alerted to a single-car crash on Route 535. The preliminary investigation shows a Nissan Maxima, operated by a 65-year-old man from South River, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Authorities said 45-year-old Omobolanle Paige hit five pedestrians, three of whom were sent to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Man Killed In Crash Into Tree, Pennsylvania State Police
The Topton man who died after crashing into a tree in Mertztown on Tuesday night, April 16 was Allan G. Levin, according to officials. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office said Levin, 51, hit a tree on the 700 block of State Street around 10:30 p.m. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from multiple blunt force injuries about an hour later, the Coroner's Office said. Lincoln Brown, 52, Killed In Dump Truck Crash: Coroner
Officials have identified the dump truck driver who died in an accident on Route 145 Tuesday morning, April 9 as Lincoln P. Brown. Brown, 52, of Selinsgrove, was southbound when his tri-axle truck crashed in Lehigh Township, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. He died from injuries sustained in the crash and the manner of death was accidental, authorities said. Route 145 was closed between Blue Mountain Drive and Birch Drive for about three hours while crews worked the scene, according to township police.
