Philadelphia Police Shoot At Suspect In Stolen Car, Authorities Say A city police officer fired their service weapon at a suspect in North Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, according to Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore.  Officers were called to the 1000 block of West Dakota Street around 2:45 p.m. after a stolen car was spotted parked on the street, Vanore told reporters Monday evening.  The vehicle, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, was reportedly stolen earlier Monday. Several Injured In Back-To-Back West Chester Car Crashes: Police Multiple people were treated for injuries after a pair of car accidents clogged up Gay Street in West Chester in the early morning hours on Tuesday, May 2.  Both crashes involved vehicles that had been reported stolen outside the borough, West Chester police said in a release.  Dispatchers received the first call some 10 minutes after midnight, they said. US Marshals Nab Fugitive Wanted For Stealing PA Pickup, Striking Police Officer In South Jersey With help from U.S. Marshals and the New York State Police,  police in South Jersey have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting a police officer in a stolen pickup truck, authorities said. The Ford F-150 pickup was reported stolen out of Bristol, Pennsylvania late last month and a suspect was arrested on Thursday, Evesham Township police said.  The suspect taken into custody was identified by Evesham police as Michael Martin.
