Linda J. Koy Killed In Palmer Twp. Crash: Coroner The Northampton County Coroner's Office has named the 77-year-old woman who died in a Palmer Township crash on Thursday, March 21.  Linda J. Koy of Williams Township died from blunt force injuries, said Coroner Zachary Lysek in a release. The manner of death was accidental.  The crash happened near the intersection of Van Buren and Lower Way roads, police said Thursday. Van Buren Road was shut down while crews worked the scene.  Koy was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus where she died from her injuries, the Coroner's Office said.

David Walton Killed In Route 22 Motorcycle Crash: Police Authorities have named the motorcyclist who died after crashing on Route 22 on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Palmer Township.  David Walton, 59, was heading east on the highway when he came across traffic congestion related to a separate accident around 4 p.m., township police said.  He lost control of his 2008 Harley Davidson and skidded across the road until crashing into a box truck, according to police. Joseph Hoagland Dies After Palmer Twp. Crash: Coroner One driver died from his injuries after a crash in Palmer Township on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, officials say.  Joseph R. Andrew Mitchell Killed In Lower Nazareth Crash: Coroner The Northampton County Coroner's Office has named the driver in a deadly crash in Lower Nazareth on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30.  Andrew D. Mitchell, 31, of Bethlehem, died from blunt force injuries to the torso at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, officials said. His manner of death was ruled accidental.  The crash happened near Newburg Road and West Mayfield Circle, according to the Coroner's Office. WFMZ reported that a woman and child in a different car suffered minor injuries.

Lorraine Grider Killed In Nazareth Crash: Coroner Authorities have named the 87-year-old who died in a car accident in Upper Nazareth on Wednesday, Dec. 20.  Lorraine Grider of Moore Township was seriously hurt in a wreck and taken to St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus in Bethlehem where she died from multiple blunt force injuries, the Northampton County Coroner's Office said.  The manner of her death was ruled accidental, officials added. Coroner IDs Woman Killed In Rollover Crash On Route 33 The driver who died on Route 33 in Bethlehem Township on Wednesday night, Nov. 8, was 40-year-old Surmaliz Valentin Ramos, authorities say.  Ramos, of Hellertown, was driving a 2014 Toyota Scion when she crashed along Route 33 between Interstate 78 and the exit to Freemansburg Avenue at mile marker 1.4 around 7:15 p.m., state police told Daily Voice.  No other vehicles were involved, according to troopers.  She was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus where she later died from multiple blunt force injuries, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  T…

Man Killed In Lehigh Valley Crash ID'd By Coroner Officials have identified the man who died in a Bethlehem Township car accident on Tuesday, Aug. 8 as 64-year-old David Capelles.  Capelles crashed on the 3600 block of North Hecktown Road, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek in a release. First responders took him to St. Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus where doctors pronounced him dead, the coroner said.  The cause of death was ruled multiple blunt force trauma and the manner accidental.  "No other information will be released at this time," Lysek said.

Pedestrian, 77, Killed Crossing Easton Street An Easton man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a city street on Thursday, June 15.  Saifeddin Alrefai, 77, of the West Ward, was walking across Larry Holmes Drive when he was hit, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office in a release.  Alrefai was rushed to the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus where he was pronounced dead, officials said. His death has been ruled accidental by cause of multiple blunt force injuries, Lysek added.  No charges were announced in connection with the crash.
