Bus Transporting Phillipsburg Elementary Students Struck By Vehicle On Route 22 A bus transporting first- and second-graders from the Phillipsburg School District was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 shortly after dismissal on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the superintendent confirmed. The bus was transporting 22 children from Phillipsburg Primary School, which had just dismissed its students, when it was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 eastbound, Superintendent Gregory Troxell told Daily Voice. Longtime Phillipsburg School District Secretary, Beloved Mom Kristal Bisher Dies Phillipsburg native, longtime school district secretary and beloved mother Kristal Bisher died at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus on Dec. 26. A proud Phillipsburg High School graduate, Bisher had worked at her hometown district as a secretary in several different buildings for more than 25 years, according to a touching tribute on the superintendent’s Facebook page.
