Bomb Threat Closes Saucon Valley Schools, Police Investigating Saucon Valley School District canceled classes Wednesday, March 20 after administrators received a bomb threat, according to Lower Saucon police.  Authorities said they were contacted about the threat on Tuesday, March 19.  "The investigation is ongoing and there is a collaborative effort between the police department and the school district to ensure the safety of the students and staff of Saucon Valley School District," police said in a release.  "In an effort to not impact the ongoing investigation, the further release of information will be restricted." Five Masked Burglars Targeted Lehigh Valley Home, Police Say Investigators in Northampton County are looking for the crew of masked burglars who forced their way into a Lower Saucon home on Tuesday night.  It happened around 8 p.m. on May 16, township police wrote in a release. Five men dressed in all black with face coverings smashed the rear sliding glass door of a house on the 2800 block of Macarro Way, authorities said.  The team of burglars fled the home when a resident spotted them and screamed, police continued. 150 Gallons Of Diesel Stolen From Lehigh Valley Fuel Tanks, Police Say Police are seeking clues after about 150 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from tanks in Lehigh Valley, authorities said. An unknown suspect drove up to fuel tanks on the 3200 block of Apples Church Road in Bethlehem and pumped about 150 gallons overnight on Wednesday, Feb. 23, Lower Saucon Police said. “It appears that the fuel may have been pumped into another vehicle due to muddy tire tracks leaving the area of the fuel pump,” police said.
