A wife, gymnast, and friend has died due to an illness her husband announced shortly after her passing.
Molly E. Athorn, 33, of Palmyra "had many health issues" that worsened and sent her to a local emergency room on Thursday, Sept. 7., 2023, her husband Nate explained in a Facebook post.
She was surrounded by loved ones when she passed around 5 p.m., he explained.
Molly was born in Hershey on Aug. 29, 1990, and was raised in Hummelstown, according to her obituary.

Two Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets worth $100,000 won with the same winning numbers, according to the Pennsylvania lottery commission.
The winning tickets were sold in Dauphin and Perry Counties for the the Saturday, November 6 drawing, according to PA Lottery.

A woman who was missing for over a week was found, kidnapped by her estranged husband, according to Derry Township police.
Nicole Gill-Schlegel, 46, of Elizabethtown had been missing since Aug. 31 and police asked the public for assistance locating her on Sept 8, as Daily Voice Reported at the time.
Someone who read about Gill-Schlegel’s disappearance contacted police after they spotted the vehicle in question.
