Police in Bucks County are pressing charges against a Philadelphia woman who they say snatched a wallet from a diner at a Feasterville restaurant. Diane Doughty, 32, of Philadelphia, is wanted for felony identity theft, said Lower Southampton police in a release. Investigators believe Doughty swiped the wallet from a customer at an eatery on the 100 block of East Street Road on Feb. 13. Daniel Nevius Sr., 55, of Sicklerville, was shot and killed in a wooded area of the Gloucester County town of Deptford on Sunday, Jan. 22. UPDATE: A man from Philadelphia and another from South Jersey admitted their roles in a major drug trafficking ring that dealt meth and fentanyl, federal authorities said. Kevin Salmon, 25, had 5½ pounds of meth and two guns in his home when it was raided by authorities, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said. Salmon had served as a courier for a major drug-trafficking network that "distributed large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl," the U.S. attorney said. A 30-year-old Pennsylvania man accused in a string of Walmart robberies was arrested in Philadelphia after a recent incident, authorities said. Jamell A. Oglesby was nabbed Wednesday, June 29 after he was spotted in the black Lexus ES 250 that Bensalem police say was involved in the robberies. Police ID Missing Delaware River Boaters
New Jersey State Police have identified the two boaters who they said went missing on the Delaware River over the weekend. A search and rescue mission was launched Saturday for Joseph P. McLaughlin, 24, and Brian S. Palangi, 26, both of Deptford, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Adam Dewechter said. Their boat capsized near Crown Point Road in West Deptford around 2:10 p.m., sending them and a third victim overboard, authorities said previously. Police in Deptford are seeking the driver in a hit-and-run crash hat seriously injured a 33-year-old dad of three. Ryan Harley was on life support at Cooper University Hospital as of Tuesday, CBS3 says. If you don't have a Wawa close by, there are increasing odds of one opening near you soon. Replete with fuel stations, the newest Wawa convenience store opened Friday at 1465 Clements Bridge Road (County Road 544) in Deptford, Gloucester County. There are almost 270 Wawa stores in New Jersey with plans to open nearly a dozen more by the end of this year. The National Weather Service has confirmed seven tornados touched down in New Jersey and Pennsylvania Wednesday night in the remnants of Hurricane Ida. A 33-year-old security guard whose K9 officer bit a man outside of a New Jersey restaurant has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said. Steven T. Rudy was working as a private guard during the incident involving a 26-year-old man outside of Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford on July 29, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said.
