A registered sex offender — who only abused children — secretly ran a carnival business in Pennsylvania and state police fear he may have new victims according to a release on Feb. 8. Richard Lee Ridley was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child in 1993 and 2006, as well as open lewdness in 2020 and harassment in 2023, according to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Sexual Offender Registry and court records. A Central Pennsylvania woman is accused of assaulting a State Police trooper, as first reported by WGAL News 8. Alyssa Marie Rhoades, 24, of Newville, assaulted the trooper on Alexander Spring Road in South Middleton Township, then taken to Cumberland County Prison, the outlet said.
