Montgomery County's own David's Bridal will send more than 9,000 workers home in an upcoming round of layoffs, according to a disclosure form it filed with the state Department of Labor and Industry. Card-Skimming Devices Found On Bucks Gas Pumps, Authorities Warn
Card skimming devices that steal sensitive data have been found at two different gas stations in Bucks County, authorities revealed. The discoveries come just days after five such devices were discovered across Montgomery County. Both skimmers in Bucks were discovered Monday, March 13, and found in Penndel Borough, police said in a statement. Just two days after similar devices were uncovered elsewhere in Montgomery County, Abington police announced that more suspected card skimmers were found in ATMs at two township 7-Elevens. The store at 362 Easton Road in Glenside and 2869 Limekiln Pike in North Hills were each found to have the data-stealing hardware installed, Abington police said Thursday, March 9. Authorities in Montgomery County have discovered "skimming devices" attached to ATMs in at least three locations, and are warning area residents to keep vigilant. Truck Hauling Deli Meat Catches Fire On Schuylkill Expressway
A truck carrying deli meat caught fire and crashed on the Schuylkill Expressway early Monday morning in Montgomery County, authorities said. Fire crews arrived on the eastbound side of I-76 between Conshohocken and Hollow Road around 3:45 a.m. and stayed on the scene for nearly 90 minutes extinguishing the fire, according to Gladwyne Fire Company.
