'Explosive Device,' Drugs Found In Wanted Man's Bag: Slate Belt PD Police in Northampton County said they found an "unsecured explosive device" along with a stash of drugs in a bag discarded by a wanted man last Thursday, April 25.  Thomas Dee Stocker Jr. is sought for weapons of mass destruction, resisting arrest, and drug offenses, according to Slate Belt Regional Police.  Authorities said Stocker was wanted by the Northampton County Sheriff's Office when he was spotted on the 800 block of Bangor Road around 10 p.m. After a short conversation with an officer, Stocker fled on foot and police gave chase, SBRPD said.  Following "several…

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Kills Driver In Northampton County An 80-year-old man died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning following a Wednesday evening crash in Northampton County, authorities said. The crash occurred on Route 512 (Moorestown Road) at Broad Road in Bushkill Township just after 5:55 p.m., Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said. Michael A. Delvecchio, of Bath Borough, was a front passenger that struck a bridge guardrail, Lysek said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Lehigh Valley Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash, 50 A 50-year-old man from the Lehigh Valley area died following a motorcycle crash, authorities confirmed. Tyson Houchin lost control of his motorcycle and crashed near 399 Daniels Rd. in Bushkill Township (Northampton County) just after 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said. Houchin, of Bushkill Township, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly before 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, authorities said.
