Born in Easton, Nehme was a member and parishioner of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, his obituary says.

Nehme was known for his unending kindness and compassion toward everyone as well as his fierce love for his family.

“Amin had great love for his friends and family until the day he left this earth,” reads his memorial. “Amin was the true definition of a hero.”

Nehme is survived by his mother, Jacqueline (Karam) Nehme; his siblings, Jeanette Nehme, Charlotte Nehme, and Anna Nehme; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members in Australia and Lebanon.

Nehme’s Divine Liturgy was held Tuesday at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church on 4th and Ferry Streets in Easton.
