Philly Caretaker, 25, Accidentally Shoots Disabled MontCo Resident, 71, In Face With New Gun A 25-year-old employee at a Montgomery County assisted living facility accidentally shot a 71-year-old resident in the face Saturday night, authorities said. The caretaker, a Philadelphia resident, was alone with three residents at the home on the 600 block of Rosemont Avenue in Upper Gwynedd, when the incident occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday, local police said. 2 Families Displaced In Montgomery Township House Fire A house fire in Montgomery Township left two families homeless last Thursday night, NorthPennNow reports. The fire started in the shed behind the house on the 100 block of Ashley Circle and spread to a pair of twin homes around 10:30 p.m., according to Bill Wiegman, Director of Fire Services for Montgomery Township.  The blaze was considered under control in less than an hour and no injuries were reported, Wiegman said.
