Homicide Victim Found In Burning Car: Philadelphia Police Philadelphia police are investigating the murder of a person whose remains were discovered in a burning car in the Northeast early on Tuesday, April 18.  Firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire on the 5900 block of Sylvester Street around 12:45 a.m., the police department told Daily Voice.  They extinguished the flames of a burning SUV to find a person in the back seat of the vehicle, authorities said.
