No Arrests Made In Deadly Philadelphia Shooting, Police Say A 31-year-old man is dead after gunshots rang out on a Southwest Philadelphia street Tuesday night, Oct. 17, officials say.  It happened on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in Kingsessing just after 6:45 p.m., city police told Daily Voice. The unnamed victim was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at Presbyterian Hospital by 7 p.m. No arrests were made and no weapons had been recovered from the scene by Wednesday, Oct. 18, PPD said.

4 Hurt When DUI SEPTA Worker Hits Trolley With Mercedes, Police Claim A SEPTA employee is accused of driving under the influence after she allegedly crashed into a city trolley with her car while off-duty.  Brianna Satchell-Thomas, 31, of West Philadelphia, is charged with aggravated assault while DUI and related counts, city police told Daily Voice.  Authorities say the accident happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6.
