Chilean Burglars Arrested In Meadowbrook, Police Say
Police in Abington Township say they arrested four would-be burglars casing a Meadowbrook neighborhood. A detective was patrolling an area that had been targeted by thieves in the past when he noticed a car driving around suspiciously on Friday night, Dec. 8, the department said in a release. A 14-year-old girl was the victim of a kidnapping attempt at the Willow Grove Park Mall, authorities announced on Wednesday. The girl was coming down the escalator when she was met by a man she did not know around 7 p.m. on July 12, Abington Township police explained in a release. The man identified himself as "Alex" and asked her to walk with him, "extending his arm, as if to escort her," according to investigators. Card-Skimming Devices Found On Bucks Gas Pumps, Authorities Warn
Card skimming devices that steal sensitive data have been found at two different gas stations in Bucks County, authorities revealed. The discoveries come just days after five such devices were discovered across Montgomery County. Both skimmers in Bucks were discovered Monday, March 13, and found in Penndel Borough, police said in a statement. A man wanted for shooting a woman over the weekend was found dead possibly by suicide in a car hours after the incident in Montgomery County, authorities said.
