A 4.8 magnitude earthquake with a New Jersey epicenter was confirmed by the USGS Thursday, April 5 The quake occurred at 10:23 a.m. about 7 km north of Whitehouse Station, NJ, according to the USGS. A 2.0 aftershock was reported at approximately 12:20 p.m. west of Bedminster, the USGS said. A 30-year-old dad is accused of getting drunk and high before he suffocated his 6-month-old baby boy, according to court documents filed on April 3 and obtained by Daily Voice the following afternoon. Timothy Ray Walton's infant was found on his mobile home's floor in Ephrata — unresponsive — at 8:10 a.m. on Jan. 19, as detailed by police in the affidavit of probable cause. Police are looking for a 79-year-old woman in North Philadelphia. Estes Lewis was last seen on the 2000 block of Westmoreland Street around 5 a.m. on Monday, April 1, authorities said. She is 5-foot-4 and 110 pounds with a thin build, medium complexion, and brown eyes, according to police. She was wearing a green/gray coat when last spotted. Montco Motorcyclist Killed In Berks County Crash, Troopers Say
State police have identified the motorcyclist who died in a Colebrookedale crash on Friday evening, March 29. Devon J. Barrett, 31, was heading east on Township Line Road when his Suzuki crossed into the westbound lane around 5:30 p.m., troopers said in a police report. He was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a westbound Honda Pilot, authorities said. The driver of the Honda was not injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, according to the report.
