Four Displaced By Fire In Northeast Philadelphia: Authorities Philadelphia firefighters responded to a burning home in the city's Frankford neighborhood early on Tuesday, April 2, officials told Daily Voice.  It happened on the 4300 block of Griscom Street around 1:45 a.m., PFD said. Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the two-story home and took 30 minutes to place the flames under control, according to a spokesperson.  Medics treated two people at the scene and took them to an area hospital, officials said. Couple Killed In Pennsylvania Home Explosion ID'd: Authorities (Update) An elderly couple killed when their home exploded in Western Pennsylvania on Tuesday has been identified, officials announced. David Mitchell Jr. 89 and his 87-year-old wife Helen Mitchell died in the blast in the 1400 block of Riverview Road in Crescent Township, Allegheny County, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner. The was felt about a mile away just before 9 a.m. on March 12, officials told the press at a news conference at 11:30 a.m. that day.
