Coroner ID's Victim Killed In Shooting At Allentown Restaurant

The victim of a deadly shooting at a restaurant in Allentown has been identified as a 42-year-old man, authorities said.

Responding officers found Anthony Rodgers, of Allentown, with multiple gunshot wounds at Big Woody's sports bar and restaurant in the 1300 block of Hanover Avenue just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Allentown Police Department.

Deputy Coroner Cassandra Schiffner pronounced him dead at the scene at 3:42 a.m.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 25 to determine the cause of death, the coroner's office said.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
