One Shot, Killed At Restaurant In Allentown, Police Say

One person was killed in a shooting at a restaurant in Allentown on Thursday, Feb. 24, authorities said.

Responding officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds at Big Woody's sports bar and restaurant in the 1300 block of Hanover Avenue just after 2:30 a.m., Allentown police said.

The victim died at the scene, police said. Their name is being withheld pending notification to the family.

Further details were not immediately provided.

This shooting remains under investigation by the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
