Months before they were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide, West Goshen police were called to a domestic dispute at the home of Kai O'Connor and Derek Calzadillas, according to documents obtained by Daily Voice. Officers drove to 432 Hightop Road on Tuesday, Jan. 2 because Calzadillas' loved ones had phoned in a welfare check, investigators have said. Authorities in Chester County are investigating a murder-suicide on Tuesday, Jan. 2, they said. West Goshen police responded to a home on the 400 block of Hightop Road for a welfare check on 41-year-old Derek Calzadillas, who relatives said hadn't heard from him in 24 hours, Chester County District Attorney Christopher De Barrena-Sarobe said. The murder-suicide victims found in a Central Pennsylvania home over the weekend have been identified as a recently engaged couple. Timothy Hanford, 49, is believed to have fatally shot his fiance, Carolyn (Hand) Eash, 57, in a home on the 800 block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg, before turning the gun on himself, local officials said.
