Triple Fatal: Construction Workers Struck On I-83, PA State Police Say A 24-year-old box truck driver struck a construction vehicle that propelled it into three construction workers along Interstate 83, the Pennsylvania State Police explained on Wednesday morning. The crash into the active work zone on I-83 south at mile marker 35.5, Fairview Township, happened at 3:25 a.m. on April 17, 2024, Trooper Grothey detailed in the release. Teen's Skull Fractured In Hit-Run, PA State Police In York County Say A teen is in the hospital with a fractured skull after being struck by a fleeing vehicle, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday.  PSP troopers in York were called to a report of "a pedestrian struck" in the 2200 block of Bridgeview Road, Hopewell Township, around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18.  First responders arrived to find a 19-year-old man "with a fractured skull" and he was rushed to WellSpan York Hospital, PSP stated in the release.  The troopers's initial investigation revealed the teen was riding his scooter east on Bridgeview Road when a vehicl…

Man 'Run Over', Struck Multiple Times On I-83 In York Co. ID'd: Authorities A 41-year-old man has been identified after being struck multiple times and "run over by a tractor-trailer" on Interstate 83 in York County, authorities announced on Tuesday morning.  Joseph Biswa of York County was "found unconscious but breathing underneath a van in the northbound lanes" of I-83 in Fairview Township around 12:45 a.m. on Jan. 16, Pennsylvania State Trooper James Grothey stated in a release.  He was taken to Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center where he died from his injuries, according to Grothey.  The series of crashes began around 12:27 a.…
