A man wanted on charges in connection with a violent rape in Elizabethtown Borough was shot dead in what the Lancaster County District Attorney's office is calling "an officer-involved shooting" on Thursday afternoon. A Pennsylvania woman yelled at a jury returning from deliberating whether or not to convict her and attempted to hit her attorney on Tuesday, according to a release by the Lancaster County district attorney's office. Bomb Threat Made At Lancaster Court House, Officials Say
A bomb threat at the Lancaster County Courthouse is under investigation, according to the county's district attorney's office. The threat was made via email on Thursday around 7:35 a.m., according to a release from the DA's office. After an extensive floor-by-floor search, deputies, assisted by an Explosive Detection K9 unit, found no evidence of this being a legitimate threat, according to the release.
