The Penguins defenseman Kris Letang is out indefinitely after suffering a second stroke on Monday, Nov. 28, according to an announcement by General Manager Ron Hextall to the National Hockey League on Wednesday. The 35-year-old father of two is "not experiencing any lasting effects of the stroke and will continue to undergo a series of tests over the next week. The death of a young athlete who died during a collision between two hockey players on the ice during a game earlier this week is being mourned in areas near and far from both inside and outside the hockey community. The Pittsburgh Penguins sale to Fenway Sports Group has moved closer to being an official deal just days after the announcement of the possible sale was made, according to WPXI. The FSG board along with the Penguins board, have approved the sale of the team, according to the outlet citing a source close to the Penguins. The final step in the approval of the sale is a vote from the National Hockey League board.
