2 In 'Serious Condition,' After Second Carbon Monoxide Incident In York County: Fire Officials
For the second time in just over two weeks, first responders have been called to a carbon monoxide leak that left someone unconscious in York County. Hanover Area Fire & Rescue were called to a "carbon monoxide emergency" in the 400 block of Pleasant Street in Hanover Borough at 1:53 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, according to a release by 79 Fire Volunteers. Ten people— including 9 children— were involved in a school bus crash in York County on Tuesday, Oct. 11, authorities say. Hanover Area Fire & Rescue members were called to the two-vehicle crash with possible entrapment in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street at the intersection of Kuhn Drive in Hanover Borough at 2:43 p.m., according to a release by the department. A firefighter was injured and a Pennsylvania mall has closed to the public, at least temporarily, following a large fire on Monday evening. Fire officials and EMS were called to the structural fire at North Hanover Mall located at 1155 Carlisle Street, around 5 p.m. on Mar. 28, dispatchers say at the time.
