3-Year-Old Boy Among Three People Shot In York (Developing) Three people were shot— including a 3-year-old boy— in York on Friday, Dec. 9, authorities say.  The York City police were called to a reported shooting in the 400 block of East Philadelphia Street/Lincoln Highway on Friday,  at approximately 4:33 p.m., according to a release by the department around 8:30 p.m. "While enroute to the call, officers were alerted that the shooting victims were transported via a privately owned vehicle to an area hospital," as stated in the release.  No names have been released but the three victims are a 23-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man, and…

Jose Jabdier Diaz, 21, of York, was arrested in the 100 block of North George Street on Dec. 9, according to police and court documents. Diaz was apprehended in connection with two robberies, the first of which occurred at the Smoke and Chill located at 100 East Princess Street in York on Dec. 5, according to police. Man Stabbed Dead By Brother In PA, Police Say A central Pennsylvania man died Monday night after being stabbed by his brother, according to authorities. York City Police were called to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 200 block of East Philadelphia Street on Monday just after 11 p.m., according to a release by police. Upon arrival police found a 32-year-old man dead at the scene, according to police. The man "had been involved in an altercation with his brother which resulted in the stabbing," police said. Apartment Fire injures 3 Firefighters, Displaces 9 People In York An apartment fire in a duplex displaced 9 people on Saturday night, according to the York city fire department. Firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of East Philadelphia Street on Saturday around 4:13 p.m. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to officials. The extent of their injuries and current condition is unknown. Five of the seven apartments in the building are no longer inhabitable and have approximately $300,000 in damages. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
