A woman allegedly told police that Juan Rodriguez, 34, strangled her and sat on top of her after an argument erupted when she went to a home on West Harrisburg Street to pick up personal items around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, according to Carroll Township police. The victim claims Rodriguez also hit her and kicked her in the face while she was on the ground, police said. Carroll Township police were called to a residence on East Cabin Hollow Road for a report of imminent danger on Nov. 11 around 10:30 p.m., according to a release by police. When the first officer approached the house Kyle Vinscen Kuykendall, 28, of Camp Hill, fired “two rounds from a pistol toward the direction of the marked police car,” as stated in the release. Police were initially dispatched to a stabbing which soon turned out to be much more, according to Carroll Township police. The false stabbing report came from a home on South 2nd Street in Dillsburg on Sunday around 11:21 p.m. Dakota James Toms, 28, of Abbottstown, had previously been at the home and stole a vehicle.
