Driver Flees Deadly Crash On Route 15: Report
A driver fled the scene of a deadly crash that closed Route 15 in Latimore Township on Friday, Jan. 13, DOT officials tell PennLive. The two-vehicle crash happened between Latimore Valley Road/Mountain Road and the exit for Route 94 (Hanover/York Springs) in Latimore Township around 2:30 p.m., according to emergency dispatch in Adams County. Man Strangles, Sits On Top Of Woman In York County: Police
A man was arrested after assaulting a woman in York County, authorities said. A woman allegedly told police that Juan Rodriguez, 34, strangled her and sat on top of her after an argument erupted when she went to a home on West Harrisburg Street to pick up personal items around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, according to Carroll Township police. The victim claims Rodriguez also hit her and kicked her in the face while she was on the ground, police said. When police arrived to arrest a man who was texting threats to someone, he opened fire on them, according to police. Carroll Township police were called to a residence on East Cabin Hollow Road for a report of imminent danger on Nov. 11 around 10:30 p.m., according to a release by police. When the first officer approached the house Kyle Vinscen Kuykendall, 28, of Camp Hill, fired “two rounds from a pistol toward the direction of the marked police car,” as stated in the release. A suspect is being sought by police after firearms were stolen during a burglary at a storage unit in York County. Two firearms have been reported as stolen from MOOVE IN Self Storage units located 845 US Route 15 North in Dillsburg on Sept. 2 at 11:30 a.m. Anyone who saw anything suspicious during the evening hours prior to this event is asked to contact Carroll Township police.

A man is wanted in York County after a violent domestic assault incident, according to Carroll Township Police. Police were called to a report of physical abuse in the first block of South Baltimore Street in Franklintown Borough on Tuesday around 5:40 p.m. When officers arrived they were informed that Akeem Settle, 29, of Franklintown, had grabbed a woman by the neck and applied pressure to the point that she could not breathe. A warrant has been issued for a man wanted for several crimes in York County. Police were initially dispatched to a stabbing which soon turned out to be much more, according to Carroll Township police. The false stabbing report came from a home on South 2nd Street in Dillsburg on Sunday around 11:21 p.m. Dakota James Toms, 28, of Abbottstown, had previously been at the home and stole a vehicle.
