2 ATM Robberies In Central PA: Police Two separate robberies at ATMs were announced by police on Tuesday, May 7.  The first robbery happened in York and the second occurred in Lancaster, it remains unclear if these incidents, which happened 3 days apart, are connected in any way.  The York Robbery began when a man offered another man a ride home in the area of the 100 block of Carlisle Street, Hanover Borough between 1 and 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, according to a release by area police.  Once the man entered the vehicle the man who offered him a ride "brandished a handgun," the police said. Royal Avenue in Hanover around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, according to York County Emergency Management, The fire went to a second alarm just before 3 p.m. Baltimore Street is shut down in the area. Bank Robber Wanted By Police In York County Bank Robber Wanted By Police In York County
Bank Robber Wanted By Police In York County A bank robbery is under investigation in Hanover, according to Penn Township police. A man entered the BB&T on 1345 Baltimore Street and demanded money around 1 p.m. The man fled on foot upon receiving an unknown sum. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 foot 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing glasses and a face mask, according to Detective Steve Gebhart. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, white shoes, and a New York Mets baseball cap. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Detectives Nate Behrendt at (717) 637-8751.
