DUI Possibly Causes Serious Head-On Crash In York County, Police Say A "serious" crash had police asking the public to avoid part of York Township as they launched an investigation on Thursday evening.  Officers with the York County Regional Police were called to "a head-on collision" at 2405 Springwood Road, York Township at 5:14 p.m. on Feb. 29, the department detailed in the release.  What the officers found when they arrived wasn't detailed beyond the above photograph.  The roadway was closed as the officers launched an investigation into the collision. PA Dad Electrocuted While On The Job, Authorities Say A beloved Pennsylvania dad died after striking an active electrical line while working, authorities say.  Marty Mundis, 49, of the 800 block of West Broadway, York Township, was killed while on a job site in 12000 block of Mt Olivet Road in North Hopewell Township on Monday, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office.  The coroner was called to a report "that a man died after they struck a high-voltage electrical line" at 12:18 p.m. on Aug. 21.  Chief Deputy Coroner Tania Zech responded to investigate the scene and certify the death.  Marty died of elec…

'She Is My Role Model' Former Teacher ID'd Following Crash In York County A beloved former teacher, mom, and "Red Hat" sister has died following a crash in York County. 81-year-old Isabella Sellers of York Township died from multiple blunt force injuries at the scene of an accidental single-vehicle crash on Monday, Nov. 28 at 10:18 a.m., as certified by Chief Deputy Coroner Tania Zech.
