'I'm Going To Kill You': Lancaster Man Strangled Woman In Front Of Her Daughter, Court Finds A Lancaster City man was convicted of punching a woman, slamming her into a wall, and then strangling her in front of her own daughter, according to the District Attorney's Office.  Jurors returned a guilty verdict against Roberto Cruz-Aviles last Friday, Feb. 9 following a two-day trial, prosecutors said.  Authorities said the assault happened at a Willow Valley Drive home in West Lampeter Township on Aug. 23, 2022. Update Woman ID'd Following Deadly House Fire: Lancaster County Coroner A woman found died  following a house fire in Lancaster County on Tuesday, Jan. 3, has been identified, authorities say.  Anna Mason, 80, was found dead in the home at Millwood Road near Fannie Avenue in West Lampeter Township after the fire began around 8:40 a.m., according to the county coroner's office.  An autopsy will be done to determine the cause and manner of death, the office says.
