Shot Man Hospitalized, Susquehanna Township Police Say
A man shot in broad daylight is the hospital, the Susquehanna Township Police Department announced on Thursday. Officers were called to a report of a man suffering a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of Wakefield Road just after noon on Feb. 22, the department detailed in a release that evening. The man was taken to an area hospital and "his condition is unreported at this time," the police said. "This incident is believed to be isolated and no confirmed threat to the public." A 19-year-old has been arrested and both he and the man he shot have been charged, Lancaster Bureau of Police said. Engaged Couple Dead In Murder-Suicide, Cumberland Co. Coroner Says
The murder-suicide victims found in a Central Pennsylvania home over the weekend have been identified as a recently engaged couple. Timothy Hanford, 49, is believed to have fatally shot his fiance, Carolyn (Hand) Eash, 57, in a home on the 800 block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg, before turning the gun on himself, local officials said. The York County Coroner’s office was called to 200 Masonic Drive York, Manchester Township at 9:17 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, according to emergency dispatch. A 16-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in the neck in central Pennsylvania on Saturday, Nov. 26, authorities say. The teen was shot on High Street in Akron Borough around 4:16 p.m., according to West Earl Township police. Teen Shot Dead Near Playground In Harrisburg
A 17-year-old boy was shot dead in Harrisburg on Saturday, Nov. 26, authorities say. Officers with the Harrisburg police were called to the area of North 3rd and Kelker Streets for a report of shots fired around 5:30 p.m., according to a release by the department.
