Gettysburg Trooper Hit By Drunk VA Driver Hospitalized, PA State Police Say A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.  Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release.  The name of the trooper stuck was not shared, but Kishbach noted the trooper was a man from Gettysburg. …

Yet Again—Drunk Convict Flees In Charger With Stolen Merch From Capital City Mall, Police Say A drunk driver with a lengthy criminal record— including two other DUIs, fleeing, and escape—has been arrested after fleeing from police with stolen items in his Dodge Charger—AGAIN, police say.  George Lamar-Griffin Davis III, 24, of Harrisburg was "observed a Dodge Charger that was recognized as being utilized in prior retail thefts," (including one on March 8) at Capital City Mall in Camp Hill on Saturday, March 18, 2023, according to a release by Lower Allen Township Police Department on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
