Philly Woman, 41, Killed When Car Hits Trees Off Atlantic City Expressway A 41-year-old woman from Philadelphia was killed when her car veered off the Atlantic City Expressway and struck several trees, authorities said.   The unidentified woman was driving an Infiniti westbound in Winslow Township at 6:22 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 when the car veered off the roadway at milepost 37.6, Detective Jeffrey Lebron, a New Jersey State Police spokesman, said. The driver’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. The crash remains under investigation.

A vehicle heading west on the highway ran off the road, struck several trees, and overturned around 3 p.m. near milepost 33.3 in Winslow Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Feds: Men From Philly, South Jersey Admit Roles In Major Meth, Fentanyl Trafficking Network UPDATE: A man from Philadelphia and another from South Jersey admitted their roles in a major drug trafficking ring that dealt meth and fentanyl, federal authorities said. Kevin Salmon, 25, had 5½ pounds of meth and two guns in his home when it was raided by authorities, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said. Salmon had served as a courier for a major drug-trafficking network that "distributed large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl," the U.S. attorney said. PA Driver Dies, Driver Changing Tire Hurt In Atlantic City Expressway Crash A Pennsylvania driver died and another changing a tire on the side of the Atlantic City Expressway was seriously hurt in a crash Friday, Aug. 26, authorities said. The pedestrian was changing a tire on a Ford Explorer in the right shoulder when a GMC Yukon driven by Steven Ray Davis Jr, 43, of Downingtown, PA, crashed into the Ford and overturned, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. The incident happened at milepost 36.3 in Winslow Township around 10 p.m., police said. Davis was pronounced dead while the pedestrian was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital.
