Glenn Long, 29, of Philadelphia, must serve just about all of the time he received in U.S. District Court in Camden on Jan. 4 because there’s no parole in the federal prison system. Undercover Cop Nabs Sex Offender In PA Child Prostitution Sting, Police Say A 62-year-old sex offender who thought he was chatting online with 12 and 14-year-old girls, was in for a surprise when he arranged to meet.  US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Jeffrey Pettinato after he set up the meeting with the 14-year-old girl for Oct. 22 and paid her "money for her to perform sexual acts on him," the Derry Township police stated in a release on Nov. 7.  The 14-year-old girl was no child at all, but really an undercover police officer, the police explained in the release. Devon Melchor, 26, of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, was charged with first-degree armed robbery and second-degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Plainsboro Police Chief Fred Tavener. Sheriff Potter, 25, of Chester, was arrested in connection with the July 8 stabbing death of Kevin Canty, District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer announced Wednesday, July 28.
