Pennsylvania Could Add 'Package Tax' To Deliveries Online shopping has been booming-- in no small part due to the pandemic, but now Pennsylvania officials are considering implementing a new “package tax," according to the Transportation Revenue Options Commission. The tax, also known as an E-commerce convenience fee, would impose a flat fee on Pennsylvania buyers for all goods purchased online that come into the state.
