Cop Injured In Philadelphia Crash; Driver In Custody A city police officer is injured and a driver is in custody after a car crash in Philadelphia early Thursday, Sept. 28, authorities say.  It happened on the 5000 block of Kershaw Street in West Philly, around 2 a.m., the department told Daily Voice.  The officer was taken to Roxborough Hospital where he is "expected to be treated and released," while the other driver was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, they said.  The driver is being "held as a prisoner" but police did not detail the charges.  The crash remains under investigation, they added. …

Man With 'Large Amount Of Naroctics' Strikes Officer While Fleeing DUI Stop In PA: Police A 56-year-old man suspected of driving under the influence hit a police officer with his vehicle while trying to flee on Friday, Nov. 3 around 3 a.m., Pittsburgh Public Safety Officer Cara Cruz told Daily Voice.  A Pittsburgh police officer from Zone 3 pulled over the man on suspicion of a DUI at the intersection of McKinley Street and Grogan Avenue in the Knoxville neighborhood.
