Arrest Made In Wrightstown Murder Of 72-Year-Old Man: Bucks County DA A suspect is in custody in connection with the 2023 murder of Richard MacFarland, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.  Prosecutors said they will announce more details at a press conference at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6.  MacFarland, 72, was found dead in his home with "multiple stab and slash wounds" last Oct. 7, the Bucks County Coroner's Office has said.   Newtown Township police are also investigating.
