Pedestrian Denies Being Struck By Car In Delaware County: Police A Linwood pedestrian who witnesses said was hit by a car told police that he tripped and fell, according to authorities.  Lower Chichester Township police were called to the corner of East Ridge Road and Market Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, the department said in a release.  They arrived to find a man with injuries to his head, shoulder, and elbow, police said.  While the pedestrian told officers he fell while crossing the street, witnesses said he was hit by a car and provided a vehicle description, authorities said.
