Body Found Off Popular Walking Trail In Lehigh Valley: Report
A body was found off a park trail in the Lehigh Valley over the weekend, LehighValleyLive reports. The gruesome discovery was made around 8 p.m. Sunday, July 17 when a passerby spotted the unidentified victim's body off the Greenway trail between Hayes and Buchanan Streets in Bethlehem, the outlet says citing local police. Social Media Threats Close 2 PA School Districts
Threats circulating on social media have prompted two central Pennsylvania school districts to close Friday, according to officials. After receiving the unspecified threats, both the Susquehanna Township School District and the Solanco School District decided to implement remote instruction "out of an abundance of caution." Officer Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car At DelCo Crash Scene
An officer was hospitalized after being struck by a car while at the scene of a crash in Delaware County on Monday, authorities said. The officer was investigating the accident in the 2000 block of Industrial Highway around 6:10 a.m. in Eddystone, local police said. The officer was taken to an area hospital for treatment and later released, authorities said. The officer is recovering at home, police confirmed on Facebook Monday afternoon. Additional information was not immediately released.

Norristown Carjacking Suspect On The Loose, Police Say
Authorities in Norristown are seeking a man wanted in connection with a carjacking, they said. Brian Islas-Cervantes is wanted for an armed car jacking that occurred on Sept. 26, at around 11:20 a.m., at 512 Janeway Dr., local police said. 3-Foot Alligator On The Loose In PA
Why did the alligator cross the road? No, really. That's what police in Allegheny County, PA are trying to figure out. The 3-foot gator was spotted crossing New England Road in West Mifflin, local police said on Facebook Tuesday. "Didn’t respond to any of the names we called it, and we weren’t able to check for a chip," police joked. "Seriously though, if you see this wandering around, please call the police."

Firefighters Knock Down South Media House Blaze
Several people were hospitalized after a fire broke out in a South Media home Thursday morning, authorities said. Firefighters responded to the 600 Block of Markham Street to find that the blaze had spread to the second floor and left a person trapped, according to Garden City Fire Company. Fire crews were able to knock down the bulk of the fire while local police freed the trapped person, authorities said. Several people with smoke inhalation were taken to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the local fire marshal.
