Two-Vehicle Crash Closes Route 82 In West Brandywine Township A two-vehicle crash closed North Manor Road (Route 82) in West Brandywine Township (Chester County) Tuesday for nearly five hours, authorities said.  Rescue crews responding to the road between Horseshoe Pike (Route 322) and Lippitt Road around 12:14 p.m., removed both doors on the driver's side of a car to free a trapped driver, according to East Brandywine Fire Company. Crews took approximately 25 minutes to free the driver, authorities said. The driver was taken by EMS to an area hospital for treatment. Crews Battle 2 Alarm Fire At Dairy Farm In Chester County Crews battled a two-alarm fire at a dairy barn in Chester County early Friday morning, authorities said. Firefighters battled heavy flames that spread through the barn, two nearby buildings, and a field at Mount Pleasant & Rock Road in Honey Brook Township around 4:45 a.m., according to East Brandywine Fire Company and Patty Mains with the Chester County Department of Emergency Services.
