New Details Released In Philadelphia Eid al-Fitr Shooting
Authorities have named the Philadelphia police officer who shot a teen during the shooting at an Eid al-Fitr celebration last Wednesday, April 10. Officer Diamond Jaynes has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the Internal Affairs and Officer-Involved Shooting Investigations, PPD said in a release. Five people in total were arrested after two groups exchanged gunfire in Clara Muhammad Square around 2:30 p.m., authorities have said.
