'Stranger Rapes' At Gunpoint In Philadelphia, Police Say One man is believed to have carried out two separate gunpoint rapes in Kingsessing over the weekend, Philadelphia police announced on Tuesday, Oct. 17.  The first attack happened at 3 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, authorities said. A woman was pulled up at a stop light on the 1600 block of South 55th Street when the attacker walked up to her car, displayed a gun, and demanded money, investigators said.  She gave him $20 before he made her unlock the car and got inside, according to police. Police ID Victim In Fatal Philadelphia Hit-Run Philadelphia police detectives are investigating after a woman was hit by two cars in a row and died Tuesday night.  It happened at the corner of 49th Street and Lancaster Avenue in Cathedral Park at about 8:20 p.m. on March 14, the department told Daily Voice.  Cobbs Creek resident Darlene Gaston, 58, was struck by a white Mitsubishi traveling west on Lancaster "at a high rate of speed," authorities said.
