Philly Police Officer Accidentally Shoots Man With His Own Gun A Philadelphia man was shot in the leg with his own gun as a police officer tried to disarm him, city authorities told Daily Voice.  It happened in Germantown on Monday, April 17 around 4:15 p.m., police said. A 62-year-old man was walking his dog when two unleashed pit bulls approached him near 20th and Chew Streets.  One of the pit bulls began to attack the man's dog, police said.
