"Task," a followup to the 2021 HBO miniseries "Mare of Easttown," will film scenes at Our Lady of Peace School, 208 Milmont Ave., officials said at the Board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Commissioners unanimously approved a special events permit request for Task Productions, also known as Random Productions.

The crew will be at the school from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, March 1, and from 10 p.m. Sunday, March 3 to 10 p.m. Monday, March 4, according to the Board.

No streets will be closed but producers said they will park trailers and other equipment on streets near the school during the specified hours.

They must also hire a police officer to be on set while they film in the township, Commissioners said.

"Mare of Easttown" starred Kate Winslet as a police detective in a fictionalized version of the titular township set in Delaware County, and filmed on location throughout the Delaware Valley.
