Mormon Ex-Scout Leader Sentenced For Raping Children In VA, New Charges In PA A 47-year-old former Pennsylvania Boy Scout leader has been sentenced for sexually assaulting two young relatives for several years in Virginia, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice.  Shawn Cory Gooden pleaded guilty in July 2023, after an extensive investigation revealed he sexually assaulted a relative, when they were between the ages of nine and 13 years old, multiple times over the course of January 1997 to December 2000, according to the Prince William County police department.
